Committee meeting 8.4.14

Messiah:

• Soloists confirmed: Iain, Pat, Milla, Amelia, Harriet

• Dee will let the soloists know that we are going to do ALL of part 3

• Accompanist confirmed: Robert Wiremu

• Rehearsals: Sunday 13^th 5:30 to 7:30 at the church

Tuesday 15^th 7:00 to 9:15 at Whittaker’s

Thursday 17^th 7:00 to 9:15 at Whittaker’s

• Publicity/advertising: Mark and Andy will write something to publish in papers

• Refreshments: After concerts. Sunday tea and bickies, Monday bring a plate

• Thanks: Posies for all soloists, Milla on Sunday, all others on Monday. Sue will get them

WW1 show:

• Andy has put together a script and music compilation for committee members to peruse

• 11 people are needed for the show, but up to 40 can be accommodated

• Costumes can be borrowed from Opera Company with additional items from personal collections or forgotten cupboards, if available

• Musicians: Reg Towers – piano

David Rawsthorne – violin

Bugle? Andy will ask Chris Orange, if he knows someone

• Lighting: Jamie and Howard
