Minutes of Committee meeting held at Whittakers

Tues. 23rdFeb. 2010.

Meeting opened at 6.35pm.

Present: Philip, Jeanne, Marion, Judy, Janet , Dee, Maya, Andy, Seth and Richard.

Apologies: Mark

Minutes: of meeting held on 26th Jan were taken as read, and accepted.

Matters arising: The costumes from the” King and I “were collected today for delivery to the Playhouse tomorrow.

Correspondence:

Outwards: Letter to Playhouse Theatre Glen Eden offering the” King and I “costumes.

Finance: No finance report.

Philip will collect the financial books from Harrop and Hargreave

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum:

Andy has contacted Hal and Leonard who have extended the time so that the performance dates will be late June, early July. There will be a fee to pay for extra hire time of the score and script.

As yet there are still no young leads, but this is being addressed

Andy to write and place adverts in the Gulf News and Market Place for the next week 3^rd and 4^th March, calling for cast audition Tuesday 9^th March at 8.30pm for those roles yet to be filled, in particular the two young lead roles. Richard’s mobile and Andy’s phone number to be used.

Anne Wilman has been approached to take on the Musical Direction for Forum.

AGM Tuesday March 23^rd at Whittakers at 6.30pm followed by normal choir practice.

Andy to place one advert in Gulf News for the AGM..
