WAIHEKE CHORAL SOCIETY MINUTES FEB 20^TH 2007

Meeting held at Palm Beach Hall .Meeting opened at 6.45pm.

Present, Jan McCartain ,Philip Symonds, Andy Spence, Richard Melville, Jeanne Mellamphy,

Apologies. Jack and Marie Watson and Pat Atkin.

Minutes. The minutes of the last meeting had been read and were passed Unanimously

There were no matters arising.

Correspondence. In/Out Nil.

Finance. The financial report is attached The grant received from Creative Community Scheme was applied to our 30 years Anniversary Show “Iolanthe” A report on the use of the grant will be sent to the above C.C.Scheme. M. J. Mellamphy, S. Jan McCartain. P.U.

General Business. The A.G.M. will be held on March 13^th 2007 at 7.30pm at Palm Beach Hall .Advertisements have been placed in Gulf News and Market Place.

Fund Raising. It was decided to have some fund raising activities to help boost funds and to raise our profile within the community. After general discussion, it was decided to have a concert with Richard and Mary, and friends .during April ,the date to be advised later. Also to book the cinema and movie ‘As it is in Heaven’ and to have a raffle M. Mark, S. Jan P.U.

The’ King and I’ is the show for 2007 and will be performed in June, again the date to be confirmed Philip will check the dates for Artworks. The show committee will be kept within the main committee and people will be co-opted as necessary. Michael Evans to be asked to design the set and backdrop. Ann Sutton has been asked to do costumes and props. Sheryl Lyall to do lighting and Jane Rushton to do make-up. M. Richard S. Jeanne P.U.
